GARSWOOD United claimed three valuable points in a 3-1 win at Chorlton Town.
Graham Hatton scored on his debut while Steve Nugent notched yet another brace. Chris Boynton had another superb game in a team which fielded no fewer than five changes to the team which had defeated Middlewich the previous week.
The club extends extend its best wishes to Chris in his forthcoming trials for Scottish outfit St Mirren FC.
The scoring form of the reserves finally deserted them as they went down 5-0 at home to Malpas. The visitors took the lead courtesy of a penalty during a first half in which Garswood dominated in possession but were unable to find the net. The second half continued in much the same fashion with Malpas extending their lead with a breakaway, finally securing the points with three goals in the last seven minutes to give them a more than flattering 5-0 win.
