PNE U16s took 20 minutes to open the scoring, finally routing Bolton Wanderers 8-0.
And when they did, through a Joanne Ball goal, they opened the floodgates as well.
10 minutes later, Michelle Banks fired home to make it 2-0 but it took until the second half before PNE hit form.
With 20 minutes remaining the game was over as a contest when substitute Katie Anderton finished off a fine move to make it 4-0 to the whites.
With just under 10 minutes remaining Benson scored her second of the game when she following up after the Bolton keeper was unable to hold Gemma Turner's initial shot.
Benson completed her hat-trick to make it 6-0 for Preston before Gemma Turner scored Preston's seventh following a scramble in the Bolton goalmouth.
The scoring was completed when Joanne Ball received the ball in the area, turned beautifully and scored with a right foot shot into the far corner.
