FREE-SCORING centre David Ingram is back at Leigh after a miserable French Connection.
Ingram signed for French First Division club Lyon-Villeurbanne for the season - but is back at Hilton Park after just two matches.
"It sounds like David has had a really terrible time in France" says Leigh coach Ian Millward. "He was treated poorly and the conditions were poor.
"He quickly became very homesick and just jumped on a plane and came back. He missed Leigh and felt to stay on in France would have been detrimental to his game.
" The only problem is, with him signing to spend a season in France, we had not allowed for him in our budget. Consequently, we are not in a position to offer him a contract although we welcome him back. If a sponsor came forward perhaps we would offer him something."
