THIS is a letter to the person who broke into my car on Monday, November 8 and stole a small suitcase and carrier bag.
The contents belonged to my friend who had died suddenly less than 24 hours previously.
Among them was the tape his widow wished played at his funeral.
I won't waste ink writing about how good a person he was - you wouldn't understand.
I only hope the "fix" you got from selling his things is good quality, because it will need to be if you indeed have any conscience.
Those are my thoughts. Sadly, the person who you stole from would probably have pitied you and hoped some good came of it.
H BARROW, St Mary's Wharf, Blackburn.
