CHILDREN In Need fever swept East Lancashire as the BBC's 10th charity bonanza got under way.
Fund raisers were out in force to try and top the previous year's £17.5 million total.
The event kicked off at dawn in Blackburn as runners joined a Bog-Eyed Jog in Witton Park. An estimated 500 people raced around the park and hoped to raise £8,000.
