STAFF at uniform firm Simon Jersey flew the flag for one of the world's biggest airlines.

A delegation of bosses from American Airlines travelled to the firm's Altham headquarters to sign a major contract.

The firm has designed a new range of work clothing for more than 1,000 American Airlines staff based in eight European countries.

The signing ceremony included a fashion show featuring the new range and the despatch of the first garments under the contract.

Simon Jersey now employs more than 300 people and exports corporate clothing to more than 120 countries worldwide.
