LEIGH ATHLETIC recorded their first win at Lymm for many years.
Two goals from Wilson and one apiece from Scott and Knowles helped the side to a 4-2 victory.
Dave Stead and John Knowles were outstanding for Athletic.
Athletic Reserves beat Lymm 4-2 with goals from Clarke 2, Edwards and Fielding. Smith was outstanding.
The Thirds went down 2-1 at league leaders Little Lever. Sean Johnson scored the consolation.
The Fourths suffered their first defeat of the season, 3-0 at home against Bolton Wyresdale.
HINDSFORD B slumped 4-3 at Whitworth Valley after apparently cruising to victory. They were two up through Barry Walsh and Chris Jolley, later adding a third via Mark Crowther. Then it all went disastrously wrong.
TOP marksmen in both divisions of the Leigh & District Amateur League come from the league leaders.
In Division One Higher Fold Labour Club's Neil Clayton has netted 20, while in Division Two, Neil Isherwood from Leigh Sportsmen has 13 to his name.
