IT may not have been pretty, but at least Brig collected a point at the Giant Axe on Tuesday night in a breathtakingly-tight 1-1 draw with Lancaster.
After Friday night's disappointing defeat at the hands of Gateshead, the point on Tuesday was welcome.
Neither Lancaster or Brig could force a winner, but Brig ended the game the better side.
However, it was Lancaster who seemed the brighter of the two as they took the lead on 11 minutes.
New signing Shaun Jessop found Neil Morton in the box before the forward fed partner Kevin Barnes. Scoring from six yards wasn't a problem.
Brig levelled things eight minutes into the second half, when Nigel Greenwood turned in an Andy Whittaker cross at the far post.
Brig then started to dominate, but could not find a winner and extended their run without a win to eight games.
