ANDY Todd's midweek flit has left Bolton boss Sam Allardyce with no room for manoeuvre ahead of Wanderers' Division One clash with Grimsby Town at the Reebok Stadium tomorrow.
The £750,000 sale of Bolton bad boy Todd to Charlton following a training ground bust up which left assistant boss Phil Brown with a broken jaw and fractured cheekbones has forced Allardyce back onto the transfer trail for a central midfielder as well as a right back to replace Neil Cox.
With a clutch of first team stars out of the picture Allardyce has just 13 experienced outfield players available, and is likely to field the same side that beat Sheffield United 2-1 last week. Long-term absentees Robbie Elliott (hernia), Steve Banks (hernia) and Keith Branagan (ankle) are all missing, while hitman Dean Holdsworth is still out with a hmatring. Paul Warhurst serves the second of a two-match suspension.
Squad: Jaaskelainen, Phillips, Bergsson, Fish, Whitlow, Johansen, Farrelly, Jensen, Gardner, Gudjohnsen, Hansen, Aljofree, Taylor, Glennon, Strong, Holden, Potter.
