IT was 'pots' all round at the grand final of the Bapto Pool Championships - sponsored by Hamlet - last weekend (Nov 13/14) at the Tower Ballroom, Blackpool.
With a staggering four awards to compete for and cash prizes totalling more than £12,500, the 375 finalists certainly had their work cut out for them.
The ladies champion was a very proud Linda Leadbitter, from Kettering, while Kev Seaman from Mansfield scooped the prize of men's champion.
The three-team award was hotly contested, with Wolverhampton's Glassy Inn potting the winning shot.
The highlight of the whole event was the national trophy and the supporting cash price of £2,000.
H's Q Club from Hatfield were the seven-man team who beat Rowleys Green Working Men's Club in a nail-biting final.
