IT appeared that the objective of your article (LET, August 2) regarding Prestige, the kitchenware company previously operating in Blackburn, was to identify former employees who could possibly qualify for a pension entitlement, and who were advised to contact Graham Pitcher at Bradstock Trustee Services Ltd.
Being a former employee, with seven years' service, I wrote to Bradstock Trustee Services on August 6 and, having not received any acknowledgement from them, I wrote for a second time on September 23. This letter also remains unacknowledged.
I should be grateful for any assistance you can give to moving this company to respond to my letters.
EILEEN COVERLEY, Pleckgate Road, Blackburn.
FOOTNOTE: Bradstock Trustee Services said the Lancashire Evening Telegraph report had resulted in around 200 responses from former Prestige employees.
It had been decided that individual letters of acknowledgement would not be issued, but everyone who had responded would be written to after their individual cases had been investigated.
Mr Pitcher added the process was very time-consuming and could take some time yet.
