CLUBS voted to abandon last weekend's programme so players could watch the England v Scotland game.
The only matches that got under way were the Sunday Division games.
And there will be one change in this week's fixtures. Carr Mill FC have asked that their Hospital Cup tie versus Hardshaw Argyle be postponed because seven of their players are in the Inter League squad for Friday's against Leigh District Leagues at Hilton Park.
Hardshaw Argyle will now play a Division Three league game at Trees FC.
In the Sunday Division, Rose and Crown just kept their 100 per cent crown intact with a 5-4 away win at Bispham Celtic, Bleak Hill Rovers had a happy return from Warrington following their narrow 1-0 win at Racing Rovers.
Sutton Heath Panthers went down 1-2 at home to York Reserves. Victoria Rainhill and East Sutton Labour thrashed out a 3-3 stalemate at Bobbies Lane while York FC were humbled 0-5 by the adventurous Penlake outfit.
Next Sunday sees round two of the 'Hatton Travel Cup' with holders, Ex Services Rainhill travelling to Owens Corning and unbeaten Rose and Crown facing the improving Bleak Hill Rovers outfit. The date and venue for the under 18s squads Lancashire FA semi-final has been decided as Saturday December 4 and Eric Bond will marshal his lads together in a couple of sessions determined that after three final appearances since 1994, this year could be the successful one. Sandwiched in those year, however, had been two successful Liverpool CFA finals. RESULTS
Sunday Division: Bispham Celtic 4 Rose and Crown 5, Racing Rovers 0 Bleak Hill Rovers 1, Sutton Heath Panthers 1 York Reserves 2, Victoria Rainhill 3 East Sutton Labour 3, York 0 Penlake 5.
