A HEYSHAM man has pleaded guilty to two charges of indecent assault on a girl under 16 years of age.
Preston Crown Court heard on Wednesday that James Lowe, 44, did not remember the incidents but claimed that they may have taken place when he was drunk.
The defence said Lowe did not wish to contest the charge as he did not want the child to suffer the ordeal of testifying in court.
The defendant, whose address was not disclosed, was remanded on bail for pre-sentence reports.
