A MASSIVE poster campaign has been launched in Todmorden by police investigating the death of a 32-year-old man following an incident outside the town centre Blue Note Night Club.
Posters with a photograph of the dead man, 32-year-old father-of-two Darren Jay, of Littleborough, are being displayed in shops, pubs and other licensed premises in the town in the hope that people will recognise him and come forward with information.
Police believe club-goers could provide information vital to their inquiries.
Mr Jay was involved in an incident outside the club early on Sunday. He died in hospital on Monday.
A post-mortem examination has shown that he died from head injuries.
Detective Chief Inspector John Parkinson, head of Calder Valley CID, said it was thought between 100-150 people could have been in or around the club at the time.
A number had come forward but others may have seen incidents either inside or outside the club.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police in confidence on 01422 337047.
