FA Cup 2nd round: Bury 0 Cardiff City 0
BURY turned in a disappointing display with Cardiff keeper Jon Hallworth not having to make a save.
Mind you, neither did Bury keeper Pat Kenny.
It was not the most entertaining of cup ties, but City assistant manager Billy Ayres commented after the match that defences love playing Bury "as they know what is going to happen, and that makes it easy."
Baichung Bhutia surprisingly replaced Bury's leading scorer Ian Lawson and drew much applause for several cameos of lovely skill, and showed that if Bury are to get the best out of him, a change in tactical direction will be necessary.
