POLICE who recovered £30,000 worth of drugs from a house in Accrington have released a man on bail.
The man, in his 40s and living in Accrington, was arrested after he was attacked by a gang wielding baseball bats in Accrington town centre a week ago.
His skull was fractured and he spent time in Blackburn Royal Infirmary before being arrested and questioned at Accrington Police Station.
A house in the Avenue Parade area of town was searched and drugs including LSD and Ecstasy were recovered.
The man was released on technical bail but has since been returned to prison where he is serving a sentence for an unrelated matter.
A woman who was arrested following the house raid has also been released on police bail.
Police still want to hear from anyone who witnessed the attack in Paradise Street last Saturday at 6.45pm.
A gang of men in their 20s were seen lashing out with baseball bats near the New Era centre.
