A SPECIAL order for blood has been made by Padiham's Gawthorpe High School as students and staff take to the stage to perform a musical comedy Dracula Spectacular.
A 100 pupils aged 11 to 16 are involved in the cast, chorus, choir and orchestra and the modern extravaganza features zombies, fanged brides and lots of blood!
There is even a special role for a staff choir who sing Karloffia in barber shop style.
Lead roles are taken by Alyson Dobson, playing Nadia Naive, Jonathon Clayton is Count Dracula, Emma Shaw is Countess Wraith and the Grovelling Minion Ghengis is played by Ian Parrish.
The cast has been rehearsing since September and the concerts on tomorrow and Friday night for parents, governors, students and friends are sell outs.
Any money raised will benefit the drama department.
