PANTO star George Critchley is seeing double, thanks to the artistic efforts of a Pendle teenager.
Now eagle-eyed locals are being given the chance to spot life-size cardboard cut-outs of the 'cheeky chappy' in and around Burnley and Pendle, to win the chance of winning a CD player.
Naomi Bancroft, 15, a Year 11 pupil at Mansfield High School, Brierfield, was roped in to produce a dozen cut-outs of George, who will appear as Silly Billy in the panto 'Jack and the Beanstalk,' at Colne Municipal Hall in January.
Naomi, of Nelson, who is spending two weeks work experience at Pendle Leisure Services, was left with blisters on her hands after all her hard work.
"Naomi has done a fantastic job on the models and I am sure that they will attract plenty of attention," said George.
The cut-outs will be 'hidden' in public places across Burnley and Pendle and anyone who writes into leisure services with all 12 locations will go into a draw to win the music system, donated by Woolworth's.
Entries have to be sent to Bank House, Albert Road, Colne.
The panto, from January 6-16, is supported by Burnley FC, Marsden Building Society and Prestige Indoor Karting, Colne. Tickets are available from the box office on 01282 661234.
