YOUNGSTERS at St James's CE Primary School, Clitheroe, have teamed up with a computer giant to raise charity cash.
They have joined forces with Microsoft to help raise £2million for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.
The money will help fund the NSPCC's hard-hitting Full Stop campaign aimed at ending child cruelty.
The youngsters have been taking part in sponsored colouring events and writing limericks designed by the NSPCC to complement the national curriculum.
Microsoft has sponsored the fundraising pack being used by youngsters across the country to raise cash for the appeal.
Head teacher at St James's Paul Adnitt said: "The appeal is an excellent way to get children working together as a team to raise money for a very worthy cause.
"It is also a marvellous opportunity to introduce them to the vital work of the NSPCC in a very positive manner, as well as communicating important safety issues."
The packs contain games, donation forms, posters, rewards for participating pupils and certificates for schools.
They are available from Sharon Pinard, NSPCC Lancashire schools co-ordinator, on 01200 427471.
