A BALTI night literally went down like hot curries as 60 diners enjoyed a meal out to raise funds for Hospice Care for Burnley and Pendle.
The Balti Palace restaurant, Manchester Road, Nelson, donated the meals and use of the restaurant to boost hospice funds.
"The speed at which the tickets sold out just goes to show how popular Indian cuisine is with people in this area and how keen people are to support the work of the hospice," said hospice fund-raising assistant Kaye Bartle.
The tickets raised £600 for hospice funds.
