SANTA and Cinderella will join forces for the Darwen Christmas lights switch-on on Saturday.
More than £6,000 worth of new decorations have been installed in the town centre and on street lights to add extra Christmas sparkle.
Father Christmas and characters from the "Cinderella on Ice" panto will be in town at 4.15pm for the festivities.
To make the day extra special, street entertainment and competitions for all the family will take place throughout Saturday.
Shoppers will also be able to see the town centre's biggest ever Christmas tree, sponsored by supermarket giant Sainsbury's.
