FROM bathing in cornflakes to busking in the street - East Lancashire was going Pudsey potty today for the Children in Need appeal.
Crazy stunts and sponsored events were due to take place across the area.
The fun began this morning in Blackburn's Morrison's supermarket where SpecSavers opticians' Stuart Ingleby was planning to bathe in cereal.
And visitors to Blackburn town centre were to be treated to a choice of music as pals George Heron and Dave Scott set up in competition as buskers.
Members of the keep fit group who meet in Holy Souls Church Hall, Blackburn, were also planning to do their bit with a two-hour Children in Need Keep Fitathon - they hope will raise more than £500.
Instructor Barbara Perkins has organised the event for the last ten years and more than 15 people were due to take part.
Pubs, restaurants and other organisations across the area will join in the fun later tonight, when the traditional Children in Need television programme will dominate BBC One.
