RECORD-breaking batsman Ben Johnson is returning as Colne professional.
The South Australian left-hander was a sensation in the first of his two seasons at the Horsfield in 1996.
He smashed the league batting record with 1,718 runs and chipped in with 62 wickets.
And, with Joe Scuderi joining Lancashire, Colne were keen to tempt Johnson back.
Club spokesman Ray Kitchen said: "I know he is looking fiorward to coming back just as much as we are looking forward to his return."
