KIND Edward and Queen Mary School U12s rugby team enjoyed an emphatic win in their first local derby.
Lytham entertained Rossall on a blustery day.
The home team exploited the elements to lead 17-5 at the interval.
Further tries from number eight James Atherton and winger Jon Robinson put Lytham in control.
Captain Charles Osborne marshalled his side well as Lytham withstood a brave Rossall rally to run out 39-10 winners.
Lytham coach Andy Weston said: "We continued the good form we showed in beating Stockport.
"I am pleased to see so many players working hard to improve their skills and their knowledge of a game new to many of them."
