Vine 46 Swinton IP 6 FIELDING their strongest line-up for a month Vine returned to winning ways in a game restricted to 35 minutes each way by the visitors' late arrival.
The homesters made a good start and led 28-nil at half-time with tries by Haigh (2), O'Brien, Fredericks and Whittle plus four goals by Orrick.
With new signing Haslam dictating play from scrum-half, Vine continued to dominate after the break and added further touchdowns through hooker Kilgannon (2) and Pickering.
Then Haslam crowned a man-of-the-match display with a fine try which he also converted to complete the home scoring, before Swinton grabbed a late consolation try.
