POLICE will talk to family members as they try to discover how a woman suffered burns at in a house fire in Major Street, Accrington.
A woman was today recovering in Blackburn Infirmary with nine per cent burns to her upper body.
Fire and ambulance crews were called at 12.30pm yesterday.
The fire badly burnt a sofa and part of the carpet, and smoke damage was caused to part of the ground floor.
A spokesman for Accrington CID said: "We will be talking to the woman's family to try and establish the exact circumstances."
