POLICE are searching for a missing nine-year-old boy who disappeared fom home yesterday.
Ptollemy Turner, of Tarbert Crescent, Shadsworth, Blackburn, failed to return home after leaving Shadsworth Junior School at 3.15pm yesterday.
Inspector Stephen Haworth, of Blackburn Police, said Ptollemy had had a row with his mother earlier in the day and had become upset.
He said: "We would like him to know that if he gets in touch with us or his mother we have ways of helping him through his difficulty."
Police are urging anyone who knows Ptollemy to get in touch. He is about 4ft 9in, has short fair hair and blue eyes.
He was wearing a cream fleece top, black tracksuit bottoms with a Gola logo and white Adidas trainers.
