FORMER Fleetwood Mac star Peter Green continues his comeback with a return performance at Colne Municipal Hall on Thursday.
The legendary guitarist, whose drug-related health problems have been well-documented, has pulled off a remarkable comeback since forming The Splinter Group. He formed the band with neighbour Nigel Watson, a builder whose guitar skills are modest comparison. But despite top session musicians being brought in to complete the line-up, unlikely hero Nigel remains, as Peter needs his pal's moral support to beat his stage nerves.
Peter was the guiding force behind Fleetwood Mac's first incarnation as British blues heroes and penned classics including the dreamy Number One hit Albatross and dark rock number The Green Manalishi. Tickets are £12.50. Call 01282 661234.
