A WOMAN from East Lancashire accused of performing a sex act with a fellow passenger during a transatlantic flight has had her case committed to crown court.
Amanda Holt, 37, of Moorside Crescent, Bacup, is set to stand trial in Manchester on January 24.
Holt, a sales manager for communications company Nortel Network and David Machin, a 40-year-old father of three, of Wakefield, are accused of outraging public decency during an American Airlines flight from Dallas to Manchester.
The couple, who are both married, are also accused of being drunk on board an aircraft. A further charge of conducting causing harassment, alarm or distress has been dropped.
Both defendants spoke briefly to confirm their names and addresses when they appeared before Manchester magistrates today but no pleas were taken.
