I RECENTLY had the pleasure of staying in a fabulous 'five-star hotel' in Blackburn.
The staff went out of their way to make my stay warm and comfortable and seemed highly-professional in their work. The choice of meals was fantastic.
Two days later, I checked out and was told: No charge - the Government will foot the bill.
The 'hotel' in question? Blackburn Royal Infirmary.
