WE are always seeing messages saying 'Use your post code.' Now, with Christmas coming up and so many letters to post to people all over the country, there is nowhere that you can get hold of post codes.
The Post Office is certainly making enough profit, so can't they issue a leaflet or booklet for people to get the post codes for different parts of the country?
I have a book with all the codes for telephones, but I cannot get hold of any post codes for writing letters.
MRS KELLY , Baron Street, Darwen.
Footnote: A spokesman for Royal Mail said customers could call the postcode inquiry line on 0345 111 222, or could order postcode directories, costing £6 per region, by calling 0131 550 8999. The directories for the local region are also available in libraries and at large post offices and are sent automatically to most businesses.
