WHO would believe that an ordinary red post box would attract the media's attention and the public's imagination?
To everyone, it is a symbol of the resistance and spirit of the people opposed to the IRA's murderous campaign carried out on the mainland.
All people in Great Britain are waiting with bated breath for the warring factions to cease their never-ending conflict, but while the IRA hangs on to weapons of destruction, we will never be rid of their threat to resume, if the Stormont talks break down.
Despite the different negotiations one can still sense the hostility and total opposition to each other's views. Luckily, the good citizens of Manchester can see the real truth - nothing can be achieved by violence and the old red post box will stand as a reminder.
