CLITHEROE railway station was due to reopen to regular passengers before May.
Ribble Valley planners would pick up half of the £96,000 bill to refurbish the station, which had been closed for 27 years. Their counterparts at County Hall had agreed to contribute the remainder of the cost of the facelift.
