FA Cup 2nd round replay: Enfield 0 Preston North End 3
NORTH End booked their place in the third round with a second half goal blitz to sink brave non-league battlers Enfield.
After dominating the first half North End were unlucky not to go into the break ahead, but the Ryman League sides resolve was finally broken in the 55th minute as David Eyres powered a header home inside the box.
Five minutes later Preston sealed the victory, Lee Propheroe sent off for deliberate handball before Graham Alexander slotted in the resultant penalty.
Icelandic striker Bjarki Gunnlaugsson rounded off the scoring in the 84th minute, his first for the club rounding off a fine performance in emphatic style.
