WE are producing a documentary for BBC2 about the lengths people go to find out the football results.
We have been talking to a Blackburn Rovers supporter in his 70s who remembers standing outside the Northern Daily Telegraph offices in the 1930s to find out results of Rovers' games.
Apparently, if Blackburn were winning, a cap would be put in the window and if they weren't, it wouldn't.
We are particularly interested in this story because of its historical context and I would be grateful if anyone else who recalls this would call me.
