WHAT can I say after reading the letter headed 'Cruel World' (November 18) but poor Mrs Feeney!
The lady seems to be at odds with everyone and everything, not to mention the massive chip on her shoulder which she is having to carry around.
There was no option but for me to go out to work because I am a one-parent family. But rather than go at life with all guns blazing I prefer to treat it as a learning process, an experience.
I have had heartaches and hardships but hey, who hasn't? There is no place in my life for bitterness and self-pity, that is for those who like to wallow in it.
Life for me could have been cold and stark. However, with the help of relations, friends and neighbours, it is warm and fulfilling.
And guess what? God had nothing at all to do with it...
