PRESTON North End open their mini-series with near neighbours Oldham Athletic tomorrow hoping to stake a claim for the outright leadership of Division Two.
But manager David Moyes has warned his players not to underestimate the Latics in what is a dress rehearsal for the following Saturday's FA Cup third round tie.
Moyes has selection problems too as North End look to stretch their undefeated run to 14 - skipper Sean Gregan is suspended while Ryan Kidd, Lee Cartwright and Mark Rankine are all injury doubts.
Up front, Moyes will probably stick with the Kurt Nogan-Jon Macken front line despite the claims of Bjarki Gunnlaugsson and Alex Mathie; the former grabbed his first North End goal when coming on as a substitute against Enfield.
Squad: Moilanen, Alexander, Edwards, Jackson, Eyres, Macken, Nogan, Lucas, Murdock, Kidd, Cartwright, Rankine, Appleton, Gunnlaugsson, Mathie, McKenna, Darby, Murphy.
