NEIL Warnock's turbulent reign at Gigg Lane has finally ended, and senior players Andy Preece and Steve Redmond, who have been running the reserves this season, are in charge for the next two games.
But team selection for the trip to Gillingham will not be an easy matter with as long an injury list as can be remembered.
Youngsters Martyn Forrest, Matthew Barrass, Ryan Souter and Brian Linighan are likely to join Pat Kenny and Danny Swailes in what will be the youngest side fielded by Bury since the halcyon days of the late 60s. Indian star Baichung Bhutia is also likely to be in the starting line up, as is Kosovan Kemajl Avdiu, who will make his first start in a Bury shirt. This would be a testing fixture for the Shakers at the best of times, but at least the youngsters have got a chance to stake a claim, though the circumstances may not be ideal.
Squad: Kenny, Woodward, Souter, Linighan, C Swailes, Barrass, Williams, D Swailes, Forrest, Daws, Bullock, Avdiu, Bhutia, Barnes, Buggie.
