WHALLEY completed very well against the older Terrors team and defenders Matthew Bagot and Caspar Steel were outstanding at the back.
Whalley hit the Terrors on the break. Thomas Jeffrey won a decisive tackle and fed George Henderson whose shot sealed the points.

LEOPARDS opened the scoring through Ashley Walker, but Knuzden equalised almost immediately.
Whalley were awarded a penalty in the second half which Walker converted and Nathan Catchpole sealed victory late on. Joe Rawlinson was man of the match.

OGGY HOSPUR 4
OGGY made full value of their chances, but Whalley squander theirs. Whalley, who trailed 1-0 at half time, threw caution to the wind to try to get back into the game but were punished three times by Oggy. Keeper Shomi Malik was Whalley's man of the match.

WHALLEY PUMAS Under-10 1
WHALLEY were pegged back in their own half for long periods as Blue Star took full advantage of the conditions to score four first half goals.
The home side increased their lead just after the break but Whalley replied with a fine goal through man of the match Adam Brown.

WHALLEY TIGERS Under-11 3
THE midfield trio of Ben Wright, Sam Taylor and Shaun Tonge worked tirelessly throughout creating many chances for Whalley.
Maitland Steel finally broke the deadlock in the second half before man of the match Tonge and Ben Wright sealed the points.
WHALLEY ARROWS Under-11 2
EARCROFT 1
WHALLEY put the visitors under tremendous pressure and they finally took a deserved lead just before the break when Alex Smith provided Chris Baron with the chance to make it 1-0.
Earcroft equalised with a spectacular overhead kick from 20 yards which looped over the Whalley keeper.
Whalley continued to make and waste chances, but with a few minutes to go Marlon Murray went on a mazy dribble before shooting home the winner. Alex Smith was man of the match. OSWALDTWISTLE JUNIORS 4
WHALLEY Under-12S 1
WHALLEY were trailing 1-0 at the break and went a further goal behind just after half time. Whalley's man of the match Jon Brooks pulled a goal back but Ossy scored two more to seal the points.
BLACKBURN DYNAMOS 4
WHALLEY Under-13s 1
WHALLEY took the lead after 10 minutes through Ryan Rigby and dominated the first half, hitting the woodwork twice.
Dynamos equalised 10 minutes into the second half and added three more in a 15-minute spell which sealed the points. Daniel Stevenson was named Whalley's man of the match.
WHALLEY Under-14 3
HUNCOAT UTD 4
WHALLEY were soon 2-0 up in this physical tussle through fine goals by John Knowles and Rob Jameson.
Huncoat pulled a goal back, then hit three further goals. Richard Benson scored a third for Whalley before the end. Thomas Donald was man of the match for Whalley.
WHALLEY Under-15 1
EDENFIELD 6
JAMIE Barnes opened the scoring with a fierce angled drive but Edenfield scored two goals in as many minutes.
Though Whalley never stopped trying, Edenfield added four further goals.
BLACKBURN EAGLES 5
WHALLEY Under-16 1
WHALLEY defended well for 25 minutes before the Eagles scored twice in five minutes.
In the second half the Eagles added three more goals and just before the end Ciaron Fitzpatrick scored a fine consolation goal for Whalley. Ben Parsons was Whalley's man of the match.
