LOCAL lads Andrew Dugdale and Steve Head powered their way to glory when they won the RSC rally at the weekend.

But speaking to the Citizen afterwards Andrew wasn't getting too carried away about the glory of it all. Instead all he could think about was the good times the pair had had during the season!

And he revealed it was a near miracle the pair had taken part at the weekend at all because drive Steve was so ill with food poisoning.

Said Andrew: "Steve could hardly move he was that sick a couple of days before the event. If that wasn't enough we had punctures on the day as well.

But the main thing is it's been really good fun this year.

"There's been times when we've been flying around with Steve hardly being able to see anything! It's a real team effort though and we'd like to thank all the people who've helped us."
