BURNLEY boss Stan Ternent believes his side will face a different Wycombe team tomorrow compared to the one they came up against on the opening day of the season.
An Andy Cooke goal earned the Clarets a 1-1 draw at Adams Park on August 7.
But after a shaky start to the season, former FA Cup hero Lawrie Sanchez has started to turn things around at the club.
"Lawrie has started to have an effect and they are a pretty settled side," said Ternent.
"They played at Wigan the other night and did extremely well so it's another tough one for us.
"It's another very important match for us and it's one we need to try and win.
"They are a pretty good side, they play 4-4-2, and it will be a difficult test for us.
"But we are playing well, and if we play to our full potential, then there's no reason why we shouldn't win it."
Burnley's 1-1 draw with Wigan at the JJB Stadium last weekend provided further evidence of the way Ternent has turned things around.
But he still wants more from his players as they bid to keep on track with Ternent's promotion formula of two points a game.
"We are making progress, that's the main thing.
"We are certainly not the finished article yet but we are getting better.
"If we get two points a match that's promotion form.
"I have targets with the players and they are doing very well.
"But as far as two points a match goes, we are behind that at the minute.
"But team spirit's very important.
"We stick together, we've got a fantastic atmosphere.
"Some players have come in and some players have come out. "But we do stick together and that's helping us through at the minute.
"It takes a lot of time to build that up because they've got to get to know me and I've got to get to know them.
"If we are successful then we are successful together.
"If we are unsuccessful, then we are unsuccessful together.
"That's the way it has to be."
Ternent has no real injury problems after Andy Cooke's calf strain has responded to treatment.
And Ronnie Jepson should be okay despite having stitches in a leg wound following a reserve outing on Tuesday.
But the game could come too soon for Paul Smith who also made his comeback in the reserves after knee trouble.
Burnley will choose from: Crichton, West, Davis, Armstrong, Thomas, Smith, Little, Cook, Mellon, Mullin, Cooke, Payton, Branch, Lee, Jepson, Johnrose, Brass.
Wycombe will be without suspended centre back Jamie Bates.
But they have signed former Liverpool defender Gary Ablett on loan from Birmingham, who was linked with a move to Burnley earlier this week.
They will choose from: Taylor, Lawrence, Cousins, Ablett, Beeton, Vinnicombe, Simpson, Carroll, Baird, Devine, McSporran, Ryan, Osborn, Harkin, Brown, Bulman, Senda, Holsgrove.
Meanwhile, Adam Sollitt - once linked with the Clarets - is reported to be a target for Manchester City.
The highly-rated 22-year-old keeper has also interested Derby County.
