A PACKET has been spent on Radcliffe's newest pub restaurant, The Lock Keeper.
The £2 million Big Steak Pub will open its doors to the public on December 13.
The family-friendly development will create 55 full and part-time jobs and is the latest sign of regeneneration in Radcliffe.
And it's not just adults who will benefit as the development also includes a Wacky Warehouse - a giant indoor playbarn - for children.
Manager Mr Simon Gray said: "Not only will the pub create new jobs for the area, but it will be a real boost to the local economy."
The chairman of Radcliffe Area Board, Coun Barry Briggs, said: "This is yet another positive step for Radcliffe. It shows a vote of confidence in the town by a major investor whose presence will, I am sure, attract more investors."
