SID Anderson, site manager at Whiston Willis Primary School, and colleague Phil Summerfield will have to don woolly hats to keep out the cold this winter after shaving their hair off to raise money for school funds.
The pair are hoping to raise up to £500 to buy extra equipment for early years children at the school in Weyman Avenue.
Headteacher Elaine Sturt said: "We are very proud of Sid and Phil and of their new look. The cash will be used to buy play equipment for three to four-year-olds, including sand trays, climbing frames and educational toys. Thanks also to everyone at the school who sponsored the event."
