EARLY risers can catch Le Jog competitors in action when they pass through East Lancashire tomorrow morning.
After today's non-stop leg from Land's End and through Wales, crews have the luxury of a two-hour breakfast halt at the M6 Charnock Richard service area, starting at 4.50am. They then head for a regularity section in the Trough of Bowland, passing through Clitheroe and Slaidburn, before arriving at the Green Dragon, Hardraw checkpoint at 9.20am.
Edinburgh hosts the overnight stop tomorrow evening, with survivors tackling the Highlands leg - from Pitlochry to Ullapool - arriving in John O'Groats early Tuesday morning.
Leading entries: Geoff Awde/Peter Ward (MGA Coupe); Tim Bishop/Sue Shoesmith (Bentley 3/4.5 litre); Phil Surtees/Nigel Raeburn (Rover P5B); Neil Wilson/Fred Bent (Porsche 356B); James Baxter/John Bayliss (Frazer Nash Fast Tourer).
