CONSTRUCTION students from all over East Lancashire received awards in a prizegiving ceremony at Accrington and Rossendale College.
Painting and decorating student Michael Tolson, of Newlands Avenue, Clitheroe, picked up £5,000 after clinching the Henkel Prize For Excellence, sponsored by adhesives giant UniBond.
A total of 37 students from East Lancashire picked up awards and guest speaker was David Cormican, president of the British Association of Construction Heads.
