THERE are just days to go before the closing date for the Lancashire Evening Telegraph's Grimewatch Awards 1999.

The competition has attracted more than 150 entries from schools, community groups, local authorities, businesses and individuals.

Projects range from schemes to cut emissions from factories to landscaping and recycling.

If you have entered you have until to submit all the information about your project.

If you have nominated someone for the Grimebuster of the Year or Junior Grimebuster of the Year (under 16) awards, we need details of why they deserve the title by Friday.

If you still want to enter, forms are still available.

Contact Grimewatch co-ordinator, Ron Freethy, on 01254 678678 ext 244, or fax on 01254 680429.

You can also contact Ron and the Grimewatch team by e-mail, at vcowan@lancashire.newsquest.co.uk.
