I AM in total agreement with Neil Bramwell's article (LET, December 2) pointing out the enormous gap in wealth between the super rich clubs and the lowly members of the Football League.
The Manchester Uniteds of this world ride high, while the small clubs struggle, or are always in fear of going under.
The Professional Footballer's Association condone this situation by not helping with funding to maintain the status quo of the league. It is surely not in their interests to let the Colchesters of this world go under.
Still, as Neil Bramwell said, it's more important to invest in a Lowry to hang on the wall than use the money to assist the minnows surviving from day to day.
