HE'S done it again. TP is definitely TC when it comes to Blackburn Rovers.
But Tony Parkes insists he does not want the job on a permanent basis. Since the departure of Brian Kidd, the world and his wife have been linked with the Rovers job, but, to my mind, Uncle Jack wants to make the caretaker manager an offer he just can't refuse.
Parkes is Blackburn Rovers through and through, and we certainly don't want another mercenary being brought in on a telephone number-sized salary and departing in less than 12 months.
It is evident that Parkes has the backing of the players - the same players who could do nothing right under Kidd.
So, come on, Uncle Jack, persuade TP to take the job full-time and to help make up his mind, how about Colin Hendry as number two in a player-coach role?
We would then have people at the club who have blue blood running through their veins and not just here for the money.
