WHEN Tony Corrigan, bedroom furniture buyer at Littlewoods, wanted to learn more about the supply and delivery of new beds to his mail order customers across the UK, he contacted Barnoldswick-based Silentnight, the UK's biggest bed manufacturers.
They invited him to spend the day with Steve Stapleton, one of the company's longest-serving home delivery drivers.
He donned a Silentnight sweatshirt and polo top, joining Steve delivering 25 beds across the North West.
Afterwards he commented: "By the end of the day I had achieved a thorough understanding of exactly what was involved and was very impressed by the levels of courtesy and service provided to our customers by Silentnight."
