A COMPANY has been honoured with a prestigious safety award.
C Caswell Engineering Services, of Haslingden, received the British Safety Council's prestigious five star safety award following a reception at HMS Belfast, London.
The ventilation and ductwork manufacturer was evaluated by the council as part of its health and safety management system audit to help companies reduce accidents and improve productivity.
One star shows a workplace that satisfies basic health and safety requirements, five stars indicates a company is a leader in health and safety.
Sir Neville Purvis, Director General of the British Safety Council, said: "Good safety is good business and can save firms hundreds of thousands of pounds. In achieving a five star award, C Caswell Engineering Services has shown real commitment to improving health and safety in the workplace."
